Viso to Visit Detroit Diamond
Cabrera, Ordonez, Guillen Welcome PDVSA HVM Racing Driver

Detroit, Michigan, (August 30, 2008) - E.J. Viso is going to the ballpark.  The PDVSA HVM Racing team driver will be a guest of fellow countrymen and athletes Miguel Cabrera, Carlos Guillen and Magglio Ordonez of the Detroit Tigers tonight when they take on the Kansas City Royals at Comerica Park.

“This is another great opportunity to spend time with friends from home and see them play,” said Viso.  “It’s rare that we get to see each other in action.  I know they wanted to come to the track today, but they had some obligations that kept that from happening.  I’m fortunate to be able to have chance to see the game tonight.”

Viso will join the trio on the field Saturday night to participate in pre-game activities before watching the game.  ESPN cameras will follow all the action.

“I’ve never seen the Tigers play,” continued Viso.  “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the ballpark and their staff. I’m really grateful for everyone making this possible and to meet and spend time with all the players before the game.  It’s going to be a fun night.”

The PDVSA HVM Racing team is in the city of Detroit preparing for Sunday’s Detroit Indy Grand Prix at Belle Isle. The race will be televised live Sunday on ABC at 3:30 (EDT).
