HVM Racing Team Owner Keith Wiggins
Sees Growth in Schedule
Indianapolis, Ind. (July 30, 2008)- The Indy Racing League released their 2009 IndyCar Series schedule today. The schedule, favorable for HVM Racing, represents a closer balance between road and street courses and oval tracks. Next season will include two new additional events HVM Racing are very familiar with, Long Beach and Toronto. |
“First, I have to commend the Indy Racing League officials for creating such a fair and balanced schedule for 2009. I think any progress towards a closer stability between road courses and ovals is welcome, as it is for HVM Racing, and I suspect most people feel the same way. Teams, drivers and most importantly, the fans, will be happy to see a more even mix, and this allows for a better job of encompassing open wheel racing.
“This is a series with fans spanning all over the globe and the schedule is allowing for growth of our sport. When you race at venues like St. Petersburg, Toronto, Long Beach along with Indianapolis- it naturally creates a better environment and greater interest. This can only move our sport and therefore teams like HVM Racing to the next level.”
