HVM Racing Riding Momentum Into Watkins Glen Top-10 at Richmond Prepares Team for Mid-Season Charge Comments from team owner Keith Wiggins heading into Watkins Glen: “I don’t think I’m alone when I say that we’re ready to get to Watkins Glen. Richmond was a tough race on everyone and we were one of the more fortunate ones. Ernesto brought the car home safely and recovered some positions from earlier races. It gives us some momentum, especially going into a place like Watkins Glen where we feel more comfortable. “We have recent background and experience on road courses and so I think that’s where you’re going to see a lot of ‘transition’ teams perform well. I think Watkins Glen will be a more balanced race. I’m confident that we can run up front based on our success in the past and our finish earlier this season at St. Petersburg. “Watkins Glen gives us that opportunity to make a mid-season run at the top-10 into the championship run. We have goals before this season ends. Winning is the ultimate goal, but being a top team that came into the IndyCar Series this season is an important one too. The guys on this team are working hard as anyone. We are optimistic this weekend.” Comments from team driver E.J. Viso heading into Watkins Glen: “I’m really looking forward to Watkins Glen. My experience has been racing on road courses, and we already know that, as a team, we run well on them. St. Petersburg, if it wasn’t for some cautions, I think we could have challenged for the win. So, yea, there is a lot of optimism going into this race. Contact: For more information on HVM Racing visit www.hvm-racing.com HVM is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
